Hurricane Maria was one of the most catastrophic natural disasters in the history of the United States. According to conservative estimates, 250,000 homes were lost, on an island of approximately 3.4 million people.

 

True Change Global Fund focused on getting Small Businesses Operating Again. Many small business owners were devastated, their homes or micro-businesses lost. True Change Global Fund focused on providing the resources to help these owners rebuild their homes and businesses, get back in operation and once again become financially sustainable. This will ultimately assist in rebuilding the foundation of the more disadvantaged sector of the Puerto Rican economy.
